KSM Candle Co.
KSM Candle Company (formerly Knit, Soy, Metal) reached out regarding a business rebrand. We took it seriously, and created a timeless, modern, clean logo, business stationery, and product packaging. The muted straight-forward black and white color palette and kraft/neutral product labels were perfect considering the brands history of being a simple alternative to traditional wax candles. An elegant and clean, san-serif type is easy to navigate, and welcoming to those who are being reintroduced to the brand.
TheInspiredI
After years of blogging, The Inspired I’s founder came to us when she was ready to rebrand and scale. We created a typographic logo and classic business stationery, organized her web content, redesigned all of her archives, and integrated LIKEtoKNOW.it content with a variety of widget styles in a new, fully custom Squarespace site.

BRANDI MEBANE - SHORT BIO
Brandi Mebane, Mebane Design Studio Owner and Lead Designer, centers creativity and thoughtfulness in all of her work. Brandi did not arrive at a career in graphic design via a traditional route, and this is perhaps what makes her work so distinctive. With a B.A. in Journalism from Temple University and a M.A. in Publication Design from University of Baltimore, Brandi merges her experience in content development with her technical and creative design skills to bring cohesive and visually stunning brand identities to life. After working in various communications and creative roles, Brandi ditched the traditional career trajectory and launched her own graphic design business in 2018. In that time, Mebane Design Studio’s success has been marked by projects such as the team branding for Delta Air Lines’ LaGuardia Terminal rebuild project, The Nielsen Company African American trends report social media toolkit, and Cream of Nature’s Color Crush Live event and their Essence Festival social creative. Over the past 4 years, Mebane Design Studio has helped over 100 businesses generate income, share a talent or service with the world, or create an opportunity for their communities.
BRANDI MEBANE - ARTIST BIO
My design aesthetic is largely inspired by nature and travel, but my work is fueled by the gratification I receive from supporting small business owners in their entrepreneurial pursuits. From brainstorming to the final presentation, each part of the design process is an opportunity to create, take risks, and express emotions and messages. I believe everyone deserves to be seen and my work—my commitment to help others’ visions come to fruition—is a true passion. Visual representation of a brand, idea, or message is often the key to not only having an impact on others, but leaving a mark on the world. Through my multi-pronged creative process, I design every choice of color, typeface, shape, and image to reference a point in time, spark an emotion, or evoke a response.
